Born in Brooklyn, New York, Elz Jenkins moved to Decatur, Georgia at the young age of 3. He would receive free studio time as a result and that’s where he would meet up and coming executive, Aaron Arnold, CEO of MusicIsMyBusiness. As Elz honed is craft as an artist for the next couple of years, Aaron would continue to build MusicIsMyBusiness into “One of America’s Smartest New Companies” according to Inc Magazine. Aaron and Elz would form a strong friendship and vowed to work together when the time was right.

In the meantime, Elz Jenkins would work with an array of producers such as Brian Michael Cox, Buckwild, Heatmakers, Gritty Traxx and artists such as Fat Joe. Although hereceived offers for deals, he knew the time wasn’t right. The sound wasn’t right. In 2010, Elz Jenkins began working on his debut album and added his last name (Jenkins) to his stage name to pay homage to the man who made him, his formerly estranged father. So don’t call him Elz, call him Elz Jenkins. Better yet, if it makes you no matter, call him victor.

Now in 2011-12, Elz Jenkis is prepared to finally show the world his sound and has partnered with several including MusicIsMyBusiness. The time seems to be right.
