Elijah Vegas

Artist and Actor Elijah Vegas was born 13 years ago on the island of St. Croix.  His parents, Vernon and Jamalia
Vegas, moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 2001, when he was only 3 years old.

His musical talents have afforded him opportunities to work with Rock City, Verse Simmons and Jive/RCA/Crown
World artists Issa.  He’s also scheduled to work with Jive/RCA/Crown World Jacob Latimore too.   Elijah’s song,
“They Don’t Understand Me”, was a popular hit with the local stations in the Virgin Islands and his recent song “My
Jordan’s” is catching buzz.

As an actor, Elijah’s accomplishments to date include: a guest role on Tyler Perry’s hit show, “Meet the Browns”,
which aired in the Fall 2010 season an appearance in a Sketchers commercial and a guest role in Lifetime
Network’s popular series, Army Wives.

The straight-A student was extended an invitation by the Virgin Island’s Lieutenant Governor’s wife, Cheryl
Francis, to participate with the Stop the Bleeding Project, a collaborative music venture that seeks to motivate the
young people of the United States Virgin Islands, the Caribbean.

Elijah and his parents met newcomer Aaron Arnold, CEO of MusicIsMyBusiness through Elijah’s publicist. “I am
really happy and looking forward to working and building a solid music career with MusicIsMyBusiness,” said
Elijah.
